A TALE OF TWO “RESPECTABLE” DOCTORS: ONE CREATES FEAR. THE OTHER SAVES LIVES

I respect Dr. Edsel Maurice Salvana. Many respectable doctors are choosing to take Sinovac.

And then there’s people like Dr. Tony Leachon who strives to create fear and anger just because he was let go of the IATF.

Dr. Tony Leachon is just anti government who strives to destroy everything because his ego was hurt. His personal biases show in everything he does. I thought Doctors would place their personal biases aside in lieu of their hurt egos, but apparently, not. The man is vindictive.

Look, this is fact —- Getting vaccinated is still better than zero vaccinations. And those who allegedly died after getting the vaccines did not die because they got the vaccines, but rather because of implications from their immuno-compromised diseases they had before. Vaccines or not, they would have died anyway.

Filipinos can pick and chose whatever they want but let’s not one person’s personal agenda put us against any COVID-19 vaccines which are still effective in keeping us safe from dying from COVID-19 if you get it.

LEACHON SHOULD HELP, NOT HATE

I respected Dr. Leachon earlier on, but come on. It’s been months and his hatred against this government is way more than his love for his country. The man is out to bite and anything —- even COVID-19 vaccines that would SAVE LIVES —- is fair game.

That makes the man selfish and despicable. A doctor should place his self interest aside to SAVE LIVES. Instead, he would rather scare people from having the vaccine just because Leachon hates this government.

GET VACCINATED FROM COVID-19

Get COVID-19 vaccinated people. I don’t care which one you use or is available but get vaccinated. Studies have shown that COVID-19 vaccinations including Sinovac are EFFECTIVE in making sure that if you get COVID-19, YOU WILL NOT DIE.

Yes, there will be discomfort. You might feel sore, fatigued, slightly feverish and may want to take a day off, but fact is, studies and facts show that those who get the COVID-19 vaccine do not die. The vaccine will PROTECT YOU FROM DYING if you get infected by COVID-19.

THE COVID-19 VACCINATION IS NOT ABOUT YOU —- IT IS ABOUT OUR LOVED ONES WHO WILL LIKELY DIE IF THEY GET COVID-19

At my age, I won’t die of COVID-19. It’s also not about my 5 year old daughter, who will 1000% live even if she gets COVID-19.

Fact is, ZERO children have died of COVID-19 yet. Kids are not the victims here. Those who die are usually senior citizens or those with immuno-compromised diseases even before COVID-19.

Instead, getting vaccinated is about us NOT BEING CARRIERS, and infecting those who will die if they catch COVID-19. I love my 74 year old senior citizen mother, and I don’t want to be the nincompoop who unknowingly infects her and causes her death, just because I stubbornly refused to be vaccinated with Sinovac just because of one anti-Duterte doctor like Dr. Tony Leachon.

Getting the COVID-19 vaccination is not just for you, but rather, everyone else, especially the seniors. Do NOT be selfish to become a carrier. You will NOT DIE if you get SINOVAC, Pfizer, Astrazenica, Sputnik or whichever COVID-19 vaccine that’s available. Instead, you are protecting yourself, your kids, your parents and everyone else from dying.

So stop the hate.

Get vaccinated, and please, no more fear mongering. Do your research before taking one man’s personal agenda and using his posts as a way to scare you from getting vaccinated from COVID-19.
