So inefficient la!
I don’t mind it since I am a visitor of this place, and I know I’ll fly back home tomorrow. It’s not as if I’m going to stay for a very long time. Dropping in, so to speak.
But the pace is so different from the Formosan island.
Back in Taiwan, everything moves at the speed of light (relative to here). Everybody’s hurrying up for their next appointments, everyday’s just a flurry of activities, and generally, you get more things done with the same time alloted to you.
People here blame the Spaniards for their mamaya na attitude. For foreigners, mamaya na is the Tagalog equivalent to “I’ll do it later.” Filipinos are procrastinators you see.
