MBA is really about good time management.
Though our semester consists of merely five (5) classes a week at 3.5 hour per class weekly, we’ve been swamped with a myriad of groupwork, networking opportunities and extra-curricular events.
I don’t know about you but I only have 24 hours a day. Let me give you an example of a typical day last week:
9:00 am – 12:30 pm – Class time!
1:30 pm – 3:00 pm – Marketing group meeting
3:30 pm – 5:00 pm – Data Analysis group meeting
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm – Talk on an industry expert in Central, Hong Kong
9:30 pm onwards t0 2:30 am – Study for a series of subject, say Data Analysis for 7 chapter quiz
3:00 am – Sleep, finally
Multiply this with seven days a week and you get yourself a lot of sleep-deprived MBA students. 🙁
It’s so funny, we’ve established a sleep police and asked all our batchmates to join the force. Maybe it’s the load of work that needed to be done and the minimal amount of sleep we’ve been having but we’ve collected about 30 photos of our classmates sleeping at various locations. Here’s one of us:
Hahaha, that’s what happens when you’re sleep deprived. Good thing, Saturday is cool. I still have to answer a 30-question quiz from Data Analysis in a bit.
Good luck to me.
Btw, more updates to come later. The last couple of days has led me to question about the true value of an MBA degree…
