Latest update, finally got an email from him:

“Good morning and how are you this fine Taipei day? All pretty quiet here today. So you still keen to get together tonight? If yes, before i can decide where, just need to know what area you work in and what time you finish work?”

Well, seems like this coffee thingy’s good to go! 🙂
