Last night, I was having dinner with  a good girlfriend of mine. Her story later.

But my tired Trader needed to go to bed earlier. He was recovering from a cold and was hoping to be asleep by 10:00 pm for maximum outcome.

“Bonita, I’m going to sleep,” he SMS’d me.

I had asked him to give me a call or text before he goes to bed. It’s just something I’d like to know – when he goes to bed.

“Great to see you’re going to bed already. Love you and sweet dreams!” I texted back.

I was still at my dinner because you know how women are. We love to chat all the time. 🙂

After saying goodbye around 45 minutes later, I was at the subway on my way home when my phone rang.

UNKNOWN number, my iPhone screen showed.

I slid my screen to answer the phone.

It was him, Trader.

“Bee, I’m going to bed and just wanted to hear your voice before I doze off…”

Awwwww shucks.

I think that was the sweetest thing he’s done today.

I really love this man.

Good night honey. Thank goodness I’ve already finished Season 1 of Mad Men but am still smiling all over. 😀
