Highly Recommended: A Glorious Night of The Sound of Music

We always want to expose Aeva to music so when The Sound of Music opened house at The Ayala Circuit Makati, we jumped at the chance.

Sound of Music is in Manila!

The play runs from March 7 to 26, 2023 at the Samsung Theatre. As you can see, Aeva is really excited. We always love live shows and The Sound of Music is perfect because they admit kids from 4 years old and above.

Children as young as 4 years old can enjoy and our 7-year old daughter had tremendous fun. From the time Maria belted out “Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens…” Aeva was completely charmed.

Fun favorites like “Do-Re-Mi” and “The Sound of Music” brought insta tears to my eyes. Maybe after over two years of pandemic, it’s great to see live performances showing in Manila for the children to be wowed by.

I always think children should be exposed to music and laughter, and The Sound of Music has both. It’s one of the best live musical shows for kids to watch and I’m glad they’re in Manila.

As usual, we paid for our tickets. This is not a sponsored post but a raving post because I hope more people can bring their kids to watch the show.

The show runs from March 7 to 26 and prices can be as low as ₱1,587 a person. If you have money to see Song Kang, you should have money to watch The Sound of Music as it’s a real treat.

Oh and I didn’t know that our very own Karylle Tatlonghari and theater actor Markki Stroem played the iconic roles of Baroness Elsa von Schraeder and Rolf, respectively. Maybe it’s the makeup or costume but I didn’t recognize them.

They really immersed themselves in the role.

Tickets are still available at Ticketworld.com. Kids from 4 years old and above can enjoy. Bring a jacket because the theater can be a bit cold.

I’m serious. If you have kids, catch this show. Sobrang ganda!
