Becoming an addiction?

Whenever I work, I turn on some music — loudly. My colleague complains that my music is so loud that she can hear it from her cubicle. Haha, but that’s just me. Whenever something dance-worthy starts playing, my body starts swaying to the music. I don’t really care who sees me. I just dance.

It’s amazing that I’ve only discovered how much I enjoy dancing. I don’t care who dances with me, but as long as the music is right, I start grooving. Usually, I close my eyes so I don’t get distracted by other men picking me up. Plus, it helps me concentrate on the song a lot more. It’s turning into an addiction. Today’s a Wednesday and I can’t wait for the weekend so I can go out. Too bad no one wants to go out every weekend. My friends say they’re getting old and can’t keep up with me. It’s getting harder to find people with whom you can party every time.

Which brings me back to my dilemma — it seems this weekend’s going to be a slow one. Karen proposed hiking up YangMingShan this weekend, which is equally cool, but I wish there was some activity at night as well. Maybe a trip to Roxy 99?

Yeah, yeah, yeah… I know that it’s a “meat” market (a play of words on “meet market” where you meet prospects), but I’m actually there just for their music and their tasty Blue Diamond drink (a mix of lychee alcohol and something else) which is served nowhere else. I’m just there to party! And believe it or not, I’ve yet to pick up or be picked up by someone.

Sigh, work’s awfully slow right now. I guess, it’s because I’ve already finished most of the stuff I need to finish. This is good news, right? But I hate being in a state of inactivity. I love doing something — anything!

We didn’t have work yesterday. Yay! Nothing’s better than a day-off during the weekday. Haha, a friend of mine invited me to go with them to an amusement park in Hsinchu. But I woke up awfully late that I couldn’t make it. Too bad, the weather was beautiful yesterday, and am sure the theme park was fun! So, I slept in late and then watched “Goodfellas” in the afternoon. Later at night, I had dinner with Yumi and caught up with what’s going on. Pretty relaxing day.

Shucks, I can’t believe I didn’t go to the amusement park!!!

  1. This is the perfect webpage for anybody who really wants to
understand this topic. You realize so much its almost hard to argue with you (not that I really would want
to…HaHa). You certainly put a brand new spin on a topic that’s been discussed for years. Great stuff, just excellent!
